Continuing education
Kathryn M. Keane, EA, NTPI Fellow, a dedicated servant of NATP and the tax profession, is principal at Macanta Corporation, a small family-owned tax and related services practice in Brooklyn, NY. She currently serves on the Board and Education Committee of the NY Chapter of NATP and as Chair of the IRS Tri-boro Practitioner Liaison Committee. She served two three-year terms on the NATP National Board of Directors and is the first ever three-time Chapter Person of the Year (2002, 2008, 2014).
She will offer the following topics:
- ABCs of ethics (2 hours)
- Federal tax update (3 hours)
- Selling a tax practice (2 hours)
- Representing today’s clients (2 hours)
- Required minimum distributions (2 hours)
- Foreign account and transaction reporting (1 hour)
Cruise agenda
We spend the first two full days at sea in class, with a reception planned after the first day. Once we arrive at St. Maarten, you’re on your own to enjoy the rest of the voyage!
