JOHN STANCIL, CPA

John Stancil, CPA has had a part-time tax practice for over 40 years in Kentucky and Florida. He passed the CPA exam on his first attempt in November 1978. He has degrees from Mars Hill University, the University of Georgia, and the University of Memphis. Dr. Stancil was a full-time college professor until his retirement from teaching in 2014. He taught Accounting and Tax at Cumberland College in Williamsburg, Kentucky and at Florida Southern College in Lakeland, FL. He has published several articles on various tax topics. The focus of his business is church and clergy tax issues, along with not-for-profit organizations. He has served on the Board of Florida NATP since December 2017.
